Pet Sitting & Dog Walking Services
A&R Critter Care, LLC is a professional pet care business established in 2015 by Alex & Robby Dundon. We are a local, family-owned team that provides high quality, professional pet sitting and dog walking services for North Denver area. With 5+ years of veterinary and pet sitting experience, and 10+ years in the four-legged industry, the Pet Sitters of ARCC are committed to taking care of your furry family members as if they were our own! When work, vacations or schedule conflicts take you away, give us a call: we can create a customized plan for your cat, dog, or senior pet, including those with medical needs. Our mission is to provide top-notch pet care by promoting healthy, happy, and safe environments for your furry family members, as well as education and community collaboration for pet parents!
Medical & Special Needs Pet Care
Whether you are at home and need temporary care or personalized instruction, or are leaving town and would like an experienced pet sitter (and/or certified veterinary technician) to be able to administer medications or other treatments, we are here for you. We can help you assess the immediate health of your pet, help you keep track of long term symptoms, and work with you to communicate effectively with your veterinarian so that your pet receives the best care possible. ARCC offers assistance to pet owners in accordance with the recommended treatments and medications prescribed by their veterinarians.
First Pet Care Service in the Country with a Fear Free Certified Professional!
Fear Free is an initiative dedicated to lowering stress, anxiety, and fear in pets. It promotes considerate approach and gentle control techniques used in calming environments, leading to reduction or removal of anxiety triggers. The end result? Calmer, more accepting patients, happier and more compliant clients, and better care.
ARCC Owner (and Veterinary Technician) Alex Dundon became certified in June 2016, and ARCC became the first professional pet care company to have a FFCP as part of the team! By implementing Fear Free protocols, educating clients, and working with like-minded businesses and team members, she hopes to greatly improve the treatment experience (both at-home and beyond) for ARCC’s special and medical needs pets!
The Benefits of a Professional Pet Sitter
Pets are less stressed because they don’t have to go anywhere new. Travel trauma is eliminated for both pet and owner! They’re happier because they get to stay at home with all the familiar smells and favorite sunbathing places. Their diets and exercise routines don’t change very much (if at all), and they aren’t exposed to the illnesses one might find in a kennel. You don’t have to impose on family, friends or neighbors while you’re enjoying your vacation. Lastly, your pet gets to enjoy the one-on-one attention they crave, and you can rest easy with added peace of mind.
What You Get With a PSI Accredited Pet Sitter
